Expanding Horizons, New Opportunities

I'll be starting to cover more events (Chicago Comic Con was pretty sweet, by the way) for here, and sometimes for AgentsOfGame.com. One of the first I'm looking into is the Lighting of the Square in Woodstock, IL. For those of you who aren't familiar with Woodstock (no, not *that* Woodstock), this is where they filmed Groundhog Day, and the town square from the movie is where there's holding the lighting ceremony. Should be plenty of fun, and hopefully, I'll be able to bring some of that to you folks.

Unfortunately, both my desktop and laptop are now running at far less than peak efficiency, so until I can get back to editing videos and podcasts on my own (thanks Matt, for helping to edit the AOG podcast!), I'll be doing something a little less tech-intensive. Also looking forward to doing a few interviews with people in the local area, as well as some bigger fish. That's something I've been wanting to do for a while, and now seems like just about the perfect time to get started.

In other news, a window may have opened for getting back into doing a bit of work in sociology. It's too early to say yet, partly because I'm not sure that any positions are available, and partly because I'm not sure if my physical limitations would preclude me from fulfilling the responsibilities of those jobs. Either way, I'd love to get back into the research game, even if it's only in an entry-level position.
